Another interesting drift dive site which can have current and usually awesome visibility. The top reef is at around 5-8m; gradually slopes down to 30m and far beyond. Good coral coverage from top to bottom.

 

What to expect: Beautiful hard coral formations. Reef sharks, barracuda, napoleon, eagle rays, nurse sharks, moray eels, sometimes mantas and large pelagic. Of course, the usual and colorful tropical reef fish.

Lots of macro life (leaf fish, shrimps and pipefish) can be found in between the corals but also whitetip reef sharks, moray eels and large turtles. Sometimes even eagle rays swim pass

It’s an easy drift dive.
We will organize lunch (different sandwiches)

Fullday snorkeling trip

We drive with the Dhoni to the end of the South Male Atoll. There is always a big group of dolphins, which are friendly to dnorkelers. There is a good chance to see them underwater. Afterwards we visit a local island and go to a sandbank. We do more snorkeling on nice reefs in the area. Lunch will be organized from the hotel. Bring your snorkeling equipment, a towel, sun protection and clothes for the local island.

Banana Reef

We give you the opportunity to experience the Banana Reef under different conditions. As night falls, an array of nocturnal flora and fauna emerges, transforming the landscape of the reef.
